Myosa® for TMD
Auxiliary appliance for advanced intracapsular TMJ disorder
The Myosa® for TMD is a custom mouldable appliance used for patients with advanced intracapsular TMJ disorders. It is worn throughout the day, except for when the TMJBDS® appliances are worn, and is designed to provide constant TMJ decompression to permit healing. It has special design features which allow patients to chew and talk with minimal disruption.

Cleaning the Myosa® for TMD
The Myosa® appliance should be cleaned under warm running water every time the patient removes it from their mouth.
Use Myoclean™ tablets to thoroughly clean twice a week. Myoclean™ is the recommended cleaning agent for all MRC appliances.
